Hey all. I thought what about a search feature on the boards, so instead of wading through the topics, you could findone say called favorite websites and you could find it easily. Let me know if you likethat.

yeh that would be great...and in the search function, maybe you could be able to sort out through the search function of certain users. I mean, some people so much and i don't care to read their stuff!! So yeh, deff search funtion but you need to be able to search post by username as well as text in the post.
Another idea i had was why not search all the boards at once, that way you don't have go to views if it was in say the water cooler.
So, you mean also the grafiti-boards? Why not?
I forgot about those, maybe not but still the idea overall is a good one.
sounds like a good idea to me, the grafiti boards might need to have trheir own search option separate from the main boards, because they're separate from the rest of the boards. Just a thought

yes, a search option would be cool. i have trouble with finding the topics i want lol
well, a dissenting voice here but i like the way the boards are set right now. stop being so lazy and look harder is my advice! lol
Yeah, i think having a search option for the Grafiti boards and the message boards is a good idea, make them have as many advanced options as possible, like in google.
i just can't see the logic behind a feature like this though. i mean the boards are well set out so far as i can tell. you can access any individual category that you wish, plus you can also view the latest new topics or see which topics have recently been added too. i realise that there is the need for some browsing in the current system but it's hardly like it is totally unmanageable. so far as i can see this would be a lot of coding for chris to do basically because people can't be bothered to take the time to look for things themselves!
if it is something that could be implemented easily then fare enough but it isn't. it just sounds like it would be a lot more work than of practicle benefit in the end!
well.... I would like just a simple search feature. Not all the advanced options though
ok, maybe all the advanced features is taking it a bit far, but a simple search feature would be good enough though.
We've actually been thinking of implementing something like this for a while. Though, I don't know how simple, or not simple he was gona make it. That's all up to Chris. Maybe he can tell you all more about this when he has time...but don't worry, we'll bring it up to him!
